When there is a faulty band they refuse to replace instead will place you in an endless loop of repeating the same steps that didn't work the first 10 times. The company is actively avoiding replacing faulty products and works hard to escape its responsibilities.
I got my whoop in early July. It will not charge, the battery pack does not work. Whoop keeps sending me the same instructions over and over again. I have tried everything it does not work. There is no number I can call- email takes 48 hours at least to get back to me and they keep sending the same message. I am clearly not the only one who has had this issue. I asked if they had a customer service number and they wanted to set up a zoom call to walk through the instructions. I just want to get a new battery so that I can utilize the device I paid for.

Tried it for several months. The data is extremely inaccurate. I compared it to several other metric tracking systems. Whoop just is useless . Not a single bit of consistency.
The best part is, the customer service just simply tells you to keep repositioning the strap over and over, take photos of your wrist, make more adjustments.
After politely following along with them and making an attempt to get the product to work, I asked for a refund after they were unable to do so.
Because of their “30 day refund policy” they can’t offer a refund. Despite the fact it’s a subscription service, and it’s not the product I’m asking a refund on, it’s the year and a half I paid for to use a product they can’t get to work.
30 days is what you need to actually make an informed decision on if their product is useable.
I’m extremely disappointed in whoop. So much talk about your company , and turns out it’s just another money grab with a horrible service and product
Fraud! I used it 2 weeks. Asked for my 30 day return and refund. Their system is used to be slow enough to cause the 30-45 day period to expire so they can charge you as they stall.
This company is as fraudulent as the return policy. Avoid!
Complete piece of crap and marketed so you have to pay at least 6 months, mine stopped working after a few wks and was told to change the way I charged it. Load of crap and I couldn’t get out of it for 6 months and have the useless data to prove it ????
What a rip off. The device simply doesn’t work. It records workouts that never occurred and doesn’t record the ones that did. For the past three days I’ve worked out once a day yet my whoop has recorded close to 7 “activities” and has me burning an average of 6,000 calories a day.... the data is totally useless. What a waste of time and money.
The strap was faulty and it didnt connect to bluetooth. Waste of time - dont but this product as you have the hassle of trying to send back the item and cancelling membership through no fault of my own. This is just my experience but it isnt a good one.
Battery went faulty after three months. Yet I couldn't return it because it was past 1 month trial period and I had moved overseas, yet was stuck with 12 month subscription. Pity - I really wanted this to work. Instead I feel I was scammed.
As for while it worked, was ok but heart rate didn't reconcile with other heart rate monitors, it doesn't always recognise when "strain" (as WHOOP calls it) has started, and it is clearly better for full-time athletes and not people with normal jobs/families.
Have used for quite a while - principally interested in HrV and recovery - initially it seemed to work well but after about a year the readings started to become erratic then the unit died. They sent me a protocol to restart which failed but bizarrely the unit then restarted on its own. Readings continue to be erratic after it restarted. I had detailed exchanges including a phone call with customer service but got nowhere - they are adamant the hardware is fine and any issue is to do with me or my fitness etc etc. It seems to be a corporate policy because the service rep said he would recommend replacement and then after a delay came back some new justification for the erratic data-most companies would just replace it - but they seem determined not to offer this and my experience seems to mirror others . So I cant recommend this. I have stopped using it and gone back to a chest strap and an iPhone app
Have had a Whoop for about a month. Battery charger stopped working. Only way to contact them is through email. Yes, it's 2021 and we can only contact Whoop through email...then hope they respond. Meanwhile, I have a dead Whoop.
Not working or replacing faulty units . More time spend on talking to customer support than having a working unit. They shipped me three times a faulty unit. This is an absolute terrible experience.
ORDER W167469 Stopped pairing after a day of use. Classic case of marketing over tech.
Stay away please
didn’t work for me, didn’t seem to capture sleep or light workouts at all, eg walking. filled out their form to return within 30 day window, and was told to expect a shipping label yet never heard from them, despite several more messages. practically fraud.
